Get to know our graphic designer Corinna Pongracz and learn where she’s from and what she’s doing at AdvantiDesign.
Since when have you been working for AdvantiDesign / AdvantiPro?
Corinna: In the summer of 2016, I celebrated my 10-year anniversary with AdvantiPro. After short breaks such as my year abroad in the USA and my maternity leave, I always looked forward to returning to the company.
What are your tasks?
Corinna: I am one of the in-house graphic designers and have been running the graphics department for a few years. Since early 2016, I have also been responsible for business development, which means I am helping our graphics department become a full-service advertising agency. However, if we’re low-staffed, everyone here at AdvantiPro / AdvantiDesign helps wherever they can. This makes our daily routine versatile and never dull.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Corinna: I love the mix of creative and strategic work. Aside from daily routines, there are always new challenges to conquer and a variety of advertising material to design. With us, every designer is involved in the entirety of a project. We handle everything from first consultations to the actual designing until the final print approval ourselves. I enjoy being in contact with the individuals that are involved in a project (including customers, printers and co.).
What did you do before this?
Corinna: I have always been working in graphic departments. During my 3-year dual apprenticeship I worked for a print shop and a company that had an internal publicity department. I always knew that I wanted to be a graphic designer one day.
What are your private interests?
Corinna: My favorite thing to do during my free time is spending time with my family and friends. I love rediscovering the world through my little daughter’s eyes, I love cooking and eating delicious food, especially cheesecake. listening to good music, fine red wine. I enjoy traveling, getting to know new people and cultures. For a few years now, I have also been into photography. Whenever I find the time, I grab my camera and capture life in pictures.
